Hillside Grade School joined the nationwide celebration of reading, Read Across America Week, with a “Masked Reader” event.
Eight teachers volunteered to dress in disguise to read their favorite stories. After watching the read-aloud on video, students guessed the masked readers by their voice. Additional clues were given, as well, such as where they like to read, who they like to read to or if they like to read while drinking coffee.
This new event was created by Building Level Team members Mrs. Austin, Ms. Ferrara and Mrs. Pecorino.
