Garden City Park School’s library transformed into an engaging museum of famous and influential figures, as the fifth grade classes hosted the second annual Biography Wax Museum on March 14.
As a culmination to their biography unit, the students selected a person of interest to research. They wrote an essay, created a Google Slides presentation and prepared a one-minute speech. During the wax museum, they dressed as their figure and shared their speech to visiting family members, peers and staff.
Some of the famous people represented included Simone Biles, Albert Einstein, Alexander Hamilton, Helen Keller and Malala Yousafzai.
