Garden City Park School fifth graders hosted the first annual Biography Wax Museum on Feb. 16. As part of their biography unit, students were asked to select a famous figure they felt represents a good role model.
The students researched their figure and created presentations on their Chromebooks. During the wax museum, they dressed as their selected person and recited facts to visiting family members, peers and staff.
Some of the role models selected included Billy Joel, Anne Frank, Helen Keller, John F. Kennedy and Taylor Swift.
