Approximately 500 New Hyde Park-Garden City Park student-artists had their work on display in the annual District Art Exhibition on April 7.
Organized by art teachers Jenna Marotta, Sharon Rebecchi and Alexandra Gaudioso, the exhibition featured various mediums of artwork from students in grades K-6 from all four school buildings. Administrators, teachers and family members were invited to view the gallery of artwork. At the start of the event, district orchestra students performed while attendees perused the art on display.
This annual event is held to highlight students’ artistic talents and the projects in the art classrooms.
