New Hyde Park Road School provided snacks for those in need during the annual Made with Love event, supporting the Mary Brennan INN Soup Kitchen in Hempstead.
In response to the Inn's current needs, students decorated snack bags with hearts and uplifting imagery, filling them with individually wrapped sweet and savory treats. These snacks were generously donated by teachers throughout the building. The students were excited to participate, and the school surpassed its goal, ultimately donating over 1,000 snack bags.
Each year, Made with Love is organized by math teacher Christine Margro.
