This school year, the district has once again partnered with the Circle of Dance Repertory Company to offer dance lessons to students in all grade levels.
New Hyde Park Road School fourth graders began their Bollywood lessons on Sept. 20. The lesson opened with the instructor explaining what Bollywood dance is before showing students the various steps.
The students will meet for lessons once a week, leading up to the performances in November. The goal of the Circle of Dance partnership is to promote arts in education.
