Members of the Manor Oaks School Student Council were invited to present at the district’s board of education meeting, on April 15.
After an introduction from Principal Jane Ruthkowski and Assistant Principal Meghann Tedesco, the students played a Q&A video on “The 7 Habits of Happy Kids.” They invited Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jennifer Morrison-Raptis, Deputy Superintendent Michael Frank and members of the board to participate and answer the multiple-choice questions regarding skills and habits necessary to be a good leader. Following the questions, the students handed out cardinals to each board member to represent the school’s mascot.
