The district recently had 16 student-musicians selected for All County. The students are chosen based on their NYSSMA scores from the previous school year, as well as teacher recommendation.
Garden City Park School students are Dylan Cunanan for All County Band, Mia Fofic for All County Chorus and Trisha Patel for All County Chorus.
Hillside Grade School’s students are Alina Benly for All County Chorus, Kristen Chen for All County Orchestra, Lorenzo Conroy for All County Band and Faith Heskial for All County Chorus.
Manor Oaks School students are Chloe Lee for All County Orchestra, Ethan Tsui for All County Band, Kendrick Williams for All County Band and Isabelle Wong for All County Orchestra.
New Hyde Park Road School students are Maya Louie for All County Chorus, Vishanna Maharaj for All County Orchestra, Ashutosh Nischal for All County Band, Zachary Palladino for All County Band and Patrick Stein for All County Chorus.
