Hillside Grade School second graders recently performed Chinese ribbon dancing. The students worked with a teacher from the Circle of Dance Repertory Company for six weeks to learn the dance and prepare for the performance.
Parents and family members were invited to the gymnasium to watch the students perform, along with Principal Beth Torreano and Assistant Principal Meghan Tedesco.
New Hyde Park-Garden City Park partnered with Circle of Dance last year to provide students with various dance workshops to promote arts in education.
