New Hyde Park Road School students celebrated the holiday season with a singalong event on Dec. 21. Musician-songwriter and parent Alan Semerdjian visited the building to sing popular holiday tunes with the students’ engagement, such as “Frosty the Snowman” “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” and “Jingle Bells.” Semerdjian’s son, third grader Nico, joined on the drums.
Semerdjian sang his own song, “I Can’t Wait,” and asked the students to write about something in life they can’t wait for.
