2025-2026 PreK Registration is now Open!
Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) and District Funded Pre-Kindergarten Program
2025-26
Pending approval of the NYS Budget, the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park Union Free School District, along with SCOPE Education Services, will provide a full-day (5-hour) Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program (UPK) at all school buildings. The UPK Program is funded through a grant from NYS, therefore, there are no additional costs to local taxpayers or families for those seats. In addition, pending approval of the 2025-2026 NHP-GCP school budget, all students not funded from the grant may have an opportunity for a district-funded seat in the program.
